At Diar il-Bniet we offer a variety of cooking classes. This summer we’re offering three courses spanning over a 6-week period. One is aimed at adults, another for teens and another for children.
The courses that are all tailor-made to suit the students’ age group are a superb way to learn about the fundamental techniques of Maltese cuisine. Whatever your age you will learn a variety of techniques and cooking secrets that will come in handy whether you are preparing a family dinner, a kid’s party or just making yourself a snack.
Children cookery course
This is the best way to let your kids get creative with cooking whist keeping your kitchen clean. Enroll them in a hands-on class where they will learn useful cooking skills that will last them a lifetime – from healthy ways of creating a beef burger, to baking pies and decorating cup cakes. This is possibly the best and most creative use of your kids summer holidays and getting yourself out of making them lunch.
Teen cookery course
During this fun 6-week course teenagers will have the opportunity to master the fundamentals of cooking, enjoy working alongside classmates whilst learning different cooking techniques – from the different ways to cooking seasonal veggies to making a traditional ftira and filling ravioli. Make the most of their summer and enroll your teen in this enriching course that will come in handy throughout life.
Adult cookery course
Get to learn professional techniques and recipes that have been perfected throughout the years and passed on from one generation to another. Learn traditional cooking in a fun and fully equipped environment, and enjoy individual attention in small groups.
