Prickly Pear

Description

Mediterranean Cactii are a common sight amongst the rocklined walls of Diar il-Bniet. The colour of this jam comes from the beautiful pink and yellows of the Bajtar tax-xewk, the prickly pears from which the jam is made. The long process involved deseeding each pear, but we believe it is worth it.
